What we collect
When you use Scroll & Spirit, we collect the information you provide when creating an account (name and email address), the books you list in your church's library, your loan and borrowing history, and messages you send to coordinate book pickups. We also collect basic usage data to keep the app running.
How we use it
We use your information to operate the book lending platform for your church community. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with any third party outside of the services required to run Scroll & Spirit (such as our email provider and payment processor).
Who can see your information
Your church administrator can see your name, email address, the books you have listed, and your loan activity. Other members of your church library can see your first name and the books you have listed. No one outside your church can see your information.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your personal data or ask us to delete your account at any time by contacting us at privacy@scrollandspirit.com. When your account is deleted, your personal information is removed. Anonymized loan records (book returned, date) may be retained for the church's history.
Church administrators
If you are a church administrator, your church owns the data in your library — member list, book catalog, and loan history. We store and process it on your behalf. See the Terms of Service below for what happens to your data if you cancel your subscription.

Terms of Service
Church Data Ownership and Cancellation
Your church owns all data associated with your Scroll & Spirit library, including your member list, book catalog, and loan history. Scroll & Spirit stores and processes this data on your behalf and does not claim ownership of it. If you cancel your subscription, you will have 30 days to export your complete library data before your account is closed. After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted from our servers. To request an early export or ask questions about your data, contact us at support@scrollandspirit.com.
